Dr. Mikao Usui
Reiki is hands on healing. Reiki was rediscovered in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui, who searched for many years to find the thousands of years old form of healing. Reiki dissolves blockage, cleanses physically as well as psychological and supplies new energy in harmony between body, mind and spirit. The Reiki goes to the areas most in need, in other words; it is the clients own energy system which decides what is to be healed and in which sequence.
Reiki is love and strength for the individual healing process and it is not depending on religious beliefs in order to have effect.
The ability to attune to Reiki is passed on by a Reiki Master.

Many forms of Reiki
All effective systems will change over time. So has the healing system of Reiki. From the original, traditional Reiki from Japan many different systems has evolved since it reached the western world. One system is not necessarily better than the other. However the Usui Shiki Ryoho aims to pass on the initiations the way Usui did them. And through generations this method has proven to work.
