Reiki Self
Treatment
The philosophy of Reiki is
that you cannot help or heal others unless you are balanced
yourself. Therefore the self treatment is the core of Reiki. As a
student of Reiki you are encouraged to do daily treatments of
approx. 20-25 minutes. These treatments are the way to become wiser
on yourself as well as on Reiki. By doing daily self treatments you
will be better prepared to help others.

Reiki Treatment by
a Reiki Practitioner
During a Reiki treatment
the
client is laying on a Reiki table (fully dressed) and is tucked
in under a blanket. The hands of the healer is then placed in a
series of positions over the head, the front of the body and the
back of the body. A full treatment takes approx. 1.5 hours.
Indirectly the client is
the one deciding how much Reiki to receive and with what purpose.
The client "draws" the energy through the hands of the healer. This
way healing, peace and beauty is created from within.

Four
Consecutive Days of Reiki
The best way to
ensure that the Reiki
has the optimal
conditions to tune in and vibrate with the recipient's energy, is to start with four days of consecutive treatments. Follow-up treatments are
decided upon individually depending on progress and effect. The most
important to know is that the sooner the problem is exposed to Reiki
the more likely it is that Reiki will help and to remember that a little Reiki is better than
none.

Distant Reiki
For most people distant
healing is a little more difficult to comprehend. Never the less, it
is just as effective. For a treatment it is best to set a time for
the healing and the client simply relaxes during the 30 minutes the
healing takes. Distant healing is a great tool for children, the
elderly and weak, and it is a terrific
substitute when a hands on healing is not possible. Distant healing
can also be used for your self, your past, animals, situations, e.g. an operation, an exam or
similar as well as for healing of plants, houses and rooms.
