Reiki means
universal life energy.
Rei which is the first character translates to
"universe" in a divine sense and
Ki, the second character, translates to life energy
or Chi or Qi referring
to the invisible energy of any living thing.
The energy of Reiki takes many forms. Imagine all of your energy in
this cup. You would probably think that filling it with more the
cup would overflow. However, with Reiki the overflow stays in the
cup as the cup becomes like a bank account holding an energy
reserve for you to draw from when in need. This energy reserve of
Reiki has an ability to provide excess energy for the purpose that
is right for you. This way the energy of Reiki takes many forms. |
